What is the Fear-Free Grooming concept? It is a concept started by Dr. Marty Becker, DVM. It utilizes concepts such as minimal restraints, soothing & calm atmospheres, and gentle handling techniques. This is for the anxious, fearful or elderly dog who grooming is stressful for. We only do what the dog will allow us to do in these situations, without rushing or pushing them out of their comfort zones. **Additional handling fee applies. NO SHOWS & LATE APPOINTMENTS are rude & extremely inconsiderate! We turned away another client who could have filled that spot!
EVERYONE has a phone! Call! You get an appointment reminder 24 hrs prior! Either confirm or cancel your appointment then! It gives us time to fill that appointment!
NO SHOWS will not be allowed to book another appointment.

Yes, all grooming services are by appointment only. The only exception is nail trims; we do those on a walk-in basis. Call for an appointment (210-858-9575) or use our convenient "BOOK NOW" button!
You drop your dog off for their appointment; when they are finished, we text or call you. We ask that you pick up promptly to make room for our next furry guest!
We do! We have 1 groomer who does Purr-babies! (Please call for kitty appointments!)
All pets must be up to date with their yearly vaccinations to be groomed at The Pooch Pawlor.
